Critical Internet Marketing Training

This article is critical Internet Marketing training for people that want to resell products on the Internet.

The biggest reason that MLM seems like a dirty word to most people is that the produces have a huge sales force that does not understand sales.  Sometimes pushy works, but most people have had such bad experiences with sales people selling MLM products that they run the other way without hearing a word.

When a telemarketer calls it only takes you a few seconds to realize it is a sales call.  Then you start thinking about how to get off the call.  We all do it.

As soon as someone starts talking about “Work from home”, “Income opportunity”, “just get 3 people below you….” we turn off.  We start thinking, “How do I get away.”

That is simply because someone that is selling an MLM does not usually have years of experience selling.  They make critical errors in person to person sales and in Internet Marketing.

Here are the critical things that will help you sell more, sell faster and sell while you sleep – even if you are new to this.

  1. Not long ago you were a normal human being.  If you try, you can still think like one.  How often do you like being sold?  In most cases, you will sell more if you tell great stories and elicit interest.  Get them to drag the details out of you with their questions.  This is true with Internet Marketing as well.  Make them want to know more instead of blasting them with information.
  2. Always write your copy with a goal on the Internet.  You only have a few goals to chose from.
    • Search engine traffic – write with a keyword target
    • Lead Generation – Get person to contact you or opt into your email list.
    • Create Curiosity – Make people want to explore.
    • Sales – Convert qualified leads to buyers.
    • Empower – Give people the knowledge they need to sell themselves on your product.
    • Relationship – Build your brand with high quality stuff that strengthens the relationship you have with the reader.
  3. Always have contact information easy to find.
  4. Leave them wanting more – want more information?  You need to join.
  5. Don’t sweat imperfect leads – Every lead you generate will not be perfect.  With the web, you can always sell other affiliate products and get value from those leads long term.  Email especially is valuable even if they do not sign up right away.
  6. Help people solve their problems – Always write to help people solve their problems.  This builds trust and the desire to do business with you.

There are more, but keep these in mind first and foremost.  Within this community I hope we build a group of people that are ethical and helpful, instead of people that blast out unwanted messages to people that do not care.
