1. iLearningGlobal Marketing to Friends and Family - Because iLearningGlobal is an MLM, the first thought you have is to market it to your friends and family and close business connections.  I did try to market it to 20 carefully selected people I knew and one joined.  However, I do not like this kind of marketing and it is not what I do.
2. iLearningGlobal Marketing on the Internet - I prefer to have people that are already interested in the product find me and decide for themselves that we are the best iLearning Global team for them to join by doing their own research.  This strategy works very well for me and I add people to my team every week.
3. iLearningGlobal Fishing Trips - Another iLearningGlobal Independent Marketer I know has a different and effective approach.  He works many months on selling iLearningGlobal to people that have big networks.  At first he seemed to be making no progress, but when he finally landed one of his big fish, he got many people joining his iLearningGlobal team almost instantly.

There may be other ways to sell iLearningGlobal.  I see a lot of people on the web doing the pay per click method - but for me that is really an expensive way to get people into your downline.  Whatever you choose, be sure to write out your iLearningGlobal Marketing Plan and set goals.  Measure everything and work towards your goals and remember there are different ways to sell iLearningGlobal and you have to choose what works best for you.

I am not cancelling my iLearningGlobal account.  I am actually very happy with it and I am making money, so it would be silly of me.

However, I did get a phone call today requesting that I cancel an account for someone.  The funny thing about the call was that it was not someone in my downline.  It was just a random person that found this website and thought I was the company.

That made me do a little bit of research.  I wondered how I would cancel iLearningGlobal if I wanted to.

They do not list phone numbers or cancellation policies very clearly.  That is just good marketing - make it easy to sign up and not as easy to cancel.  However, I know that the team at iLearningGlobal are also not the kind of people that are trying to trick you into staying in a program you do not want.

If you are thinking about cancelling iLearningGlobal, do not call me.  Instead, email support@ilearningglobal.tv or log into the iLearningGlobal back office and give them a call with the phone number that is listed in the corporate contact information.

It should not be hard to cancel a product that you do not want - but I cannot cancel iLearningGlobal for you.  You need to talk directly with the company.

One thing that is unfortunate is that people have to trust you to join iLearning Global.  There is no iLearning Global Trial Membership - and many people want to try before they buy.

I think about all the offers I get every day for eBooks, Internet Marketing Videos, etc and many of those offers are much cheaper and they offer me big promises.

So if someone asks you for an iLearningGlobal Trial Membership - how do you respond?

I simply say that they need to think about the worst that can happen.  Trying iLearningGlobal for one month will not loose anyone a fortune - there is no long term contract.  Down side is you get some great training but it is not what you were looking for, so you lost a month’s subscription.

Upside to the risk of joining iLearning Global?

• You love it and benefit from it, improving your life.
• You develop an additional revenue stream that eventually more than pays for your membership costs.
• You can cut back on some other training expenses.

So no, you cannot get an iLearning Global Trial Membership.  Nor can you offer a prospect an iLearning Global Trial Membership.  But you should ask them to just look at the risk vs the potential reward.

iLearning Global Technology Review

I know technology and as I review the iLearning Global technology, I find it to be very good.  Currently, they are addressing some issues surrounding the need to upgrade to the latest version of Flash.  If you are not on the latest version, some of the video and audio seems choppy.

The way that it is organized is good.  You can quickly browse video and preview it.  There are some elements that I wish would be click-able, but I have a feeling that is coming.

Probably the one thing as an iLearning Global Marketer I wish they would have is the ability to link to a video.  I would like to share links so that I could reference something.  For example, I would love to be able to embed my marketer code into a link that goes directly to the Billionaire Testimonial by Bill Bartmann.

iLearning Global Content Review

I find that the content is very professional and high end.  The people presenting the information are fantastic.  There is one thing that I will say that is negative, but not really.  I have been in business 10 years and I do find some of the information geared towards people that have not already built bigger businesses.  That is good for someone that is starting out, but I do find I need to hunt more for the more advanced stuff on some topics.

They currently are doubling the amount of content in the portal before release in early 2009.  By that time, I expect they will have added a lot more information on some of the topics that interest me.

iLearning Global Income Review

iLearning Global as an income opportunity is interesting.  What I love about the model is the structure.  I simply need to find 5 serious people under me and then help them become more successful.  I do wish that it was easier to get to the break even point.  That was the one thing that held me back for a while before joining.  However, once I really thought about it, the cost per month is a small risk with big potential.  And you can leave any time, so I stopped making excuses and started up.

Can you make real money?

Not easily for most of us.  You must look at the compensation on the website and ask yourself if you can find a few good people that would take it seriously.  Once it gets 2 or 3 levels deep, then it becomes easier because you are supporting other people that are finding their 5.

Important Decision if you want to make money with iLearning Global.

The most important thing you need to think about if you decide to give iLearning Global a try is to join in a power-group.  People that are taking it seriously.  For example, I am publishing this information, dominating search engines and signing up people.  The good news is that it is in my best interest to help my ladder grow, not to put all the new members directly under me.

You need to join under a group that is going to support you, give you inside marketing information and help you build your income.

Video is has been transforming online training for a while.  However, it is in the last year that it seems to be hitting main stream and getting easier to do.

I am not talking about YouTube.  I am talking about hosting your own high quality video and distributing it in a scalable solution.

Amazon s3 has made that easier.  Now you can embed video into your webpage that is hosted on the Amazon S3 servers and you are only paying a few cents per month for delivery.  It is an inexpensive and relayable service.

If you are looking at eLearning solutions, be sure that they integrate with Amazon S3 to get a dependable delivery method.

What is the difference between iLearning Global.biz and iLearning Global.TV?

iLearningGlobal.biz is the website where you go to sign up for iLearning Global.  If you are a reseller of iLearning Global, you add your user name at the end of the link.  Mine is Buzzoodle, so my reseller link is www.ilearningglobal.biz/buzzoodle.

iLearningGlobal.TV is actually where you go to log into the iLearning Global training system and use the watch the training videos, listen to the audios and download the full eBooks.

Are there other iLearning Global Websites?

Yes.  There is a back office ilearning global website where you can track your sales and view your network of iLearning Global Marketers.

Are there other official iLearning Global websites?

The interesting thing about any income opportunity that is an MLM is that lots of people are going to develop all kinds of websites for iLearning Global.  I did some domain research, and I am not sure if the iLearning Global company actually owns iLearningGlobal.com - the domain does not resolve to anything and when I look up the ownership, it appears to be someone else.

I suppose at some point that could become a very official information site if the ilearning global team ever gets their hands on it.

Creating a more talented, knowledgeable workforce is required to succeed in business.  Your staff is your best asset and investing in them is important.

When I launched the Virtual Buzz Assistant Network, I knew I would use a Wordpress blog for the marketing front end.  Wordpress is too powerful a marketing tool, and I do not know of anything that gets faster results.

However, to manage my community I wanted a really good membership management system.  I wanted to keep the cost low because I did not know how the community would grow.  So I began playing with open-source solutions for membership sites/learning sites.

#1 Moodle - I liked Moodle but I was putting in too many hours to customize it.  Also, there were a lot of features but I was not sure what features would ultimately matter to the members.

#2 Ning - To simplify things, I set up a version #2 of the network on Ning.  While setup was super easy, it was hard to customize elements and it was not easy to lay out training materials.  It was far more of a community-only kind of portal.

#3 DontNetNuke - Initially I really liked DotNetNuke because it was very easy to set up, had powerful features and could be customized.  I bought a nice professional template and relaunched the membership site in DotNetNuke, only to find that the next version of the browsers was doing funny things with the layout and most people were not using many of the features anyway.

#4 Litmus - I experimented with Litmus, but decided against it because of the higher cost of ownership and the lack of community features, such as a message board.  (Although they are adding that feature)

#5 Wordpress - I found myself coming full circle to appreciate just how powerful wordpress is for hosting a community site.  I added a message board plugin and a membership management plugin and now have a site that I am much more happy with.  It is steam-lines and easy to update.  It has fewer features, but I found from those past experiences that those features do not get used anyway.

Now that I have a great template and understanding of how to use Wordpress for a members site, I am thrilled with the many possibilities.  If you are thinking about launching a membership training site, I hope this summary helps you avoid the many months of research and experimenting I needed to go through so that I could finally realize the obvious.
